Tikka work

Are there any smiths here that specialize or have experience working on Tikkas? I'd like to put a Gaillard barrel on mine. Thanks.

It would be the same as rebarreling any bolt action rifle all the steps would be the same. You shouldn't need a tikka specialist.

You mean something along these lines? It was a basic left hand T3 in 25-06. After the work was done, Benchmark barrel 6.5-06 with 1 in 8" twist, McMillan stock, custom bolt knob, rail and brake. This is one of a few Tikka's I have got to play with.

Best part about a tikka is other than the re barrel you don't need a gunsmith to do any of it. It is all very easy to do your self.

Easy to replace a bolt knob, bolt shroud, switch bottom metal ect....Im assuming thats what he means.
