I still remember when I found CGN years ago not many people here were interested in SKS. People never treated it seriously as it was cheap and made by the commies. People like me who loves SKS and tried to tell others that an SKS does kill would be picked on big time. Human are ignorant, well, most of them. But now times are changing. Any SKS that shows up in EE will be grabbed in a sec. Actually it's happening almost everywhere in this country. More people are going after their meat bucks with SKS.
I dropped a grand on a Ruger M77 bolt action shooting 7.62x39. Yeh I love this calibre! It shoots sub moa at 100 yards easy even without proper rest. Very well made, and kicks like a .22. But I could never find the same excitement as when I shoot SKS. SKS is the cheapest gun I own, but it's my most favourite one.
This SKS forum is such a treasure to all the SKS fans, thanks to all the guys like us who keep contributing their knowledge to this place. Keep up the good job and see you all in the bush with your SKS!
