I finally faxed in the order form to Marstar on friday for a SKS. Since almost everybody here seems to have gotten their SKS from Marstar I was just wondering if you could tell me how long it took to get yours? When I get mine I'll post some pics.:D

Being that he is a liberal he is likely lying and really ordered a baby bottle from ebay. How he will use this bottle to funnel money from us to his criminal friends I don't know.

For some reason I feel like going over to the babble forum to ask them how long it took them to get their hemp seeds, and log in as WestyConLover and have a lasso and a 6-shooter as an avatar :D :D :D

EDIT: interesting quiz too. As for my SKS, I bought mine locally so I got it the same day I wanted one.

So instead for answering the man's questions, you berate him for having a certain political view. That's great. If this is how new members are typically treated, am I lucky that I have only experienced this sort of behavior now?

Hey, I'm a conservative, and I don't agree with the liberal point of view, but this guy likely could be a new firearm owner, right? Isn't that what we as fellow Canadian firearm owners should be encouraging? If this had been me, I'd likely not come back to this forum as a source of information when I had a question.

Besides, I'm not sure political comments belong in the SKS section, especially of the disparaging variety.

I have friends that are liberals, conservatives, and everything else, and... get this... we haven't killed each other yet! Could that be because we are human beings first and political adversaries second?

It's fine to blatently disagree... the more vocally, the better. But see, you two have attacked tony238 as a person, and not attacked the liberal viewpoint with which you disagree. You are perpetuating the bad reputation of intolerance all gun owners innately carry in this society... yeah, the very same intolerance we ask non gun owners to overcome when dealing with us, and furthermore, you give all the other people the use this forum, and people who disagree with liberalism, a rancid name.

Tony238, I'm afraid I can't answer your question, but I will appologize for these two. We're not all like that.

Let me get this straight.

We are supposed to be chummy with an individual who not only SUPPORTs an organization that is dedicated to the extinction of the rights of those on this board.

BUT we are supposed to be SUPER UNDERSTANDING of one who has the AUDACITY to choose its logo as his avatar just to throw it in our faces??

Nope...........not on my watch!

I have opted to not display avatars or siglines via the User CP......site loads faster, looks cleaner and is less distracting to surf...

Without the Avatar and the Sigline I would not know just what sort of a guy Tony is.

Now I do so in this instance...it has paid off in spades!

He can be a closet liberal if he likes; in this case it is a little too much "in your face". Anyone go see his quiz? You have to pick which quote belongs to Hitler and which ones belong to Ann Coulter :rolleyes: very entertaining indeed :)
