As mentioned in the title, I'm looking to stretch the legs a little with Spring just around the corner. This scope will be used for casual target shooting (800 max) throughout spring/summer and then hunting throughout fall/winter.
Here are my requirements:
Weights: 22 oz or lighter (lighter the better!)
Turrets are a must
Must be usable during dusk and dawn hunts
I entirely understand these requirements are hard to meet which is why there's no set budget.
Here are several scopes i'm currently considering but not yet "perfect"
Zeiss Conquest HD5 3-15x42 w/ locking turrets
-Lacks FFP, zero stop kinda sucks, can't seem to locate one with a more ballistic friendly reticle (not a requirement).
March 3-24x42
-Spoke with distributor, apparently they're hard to get atm
Swarovski 2.5-15x44
-Lacks FFP, $$$
Vortex Viper 2.5-10x32 FFP
-Concerned about objective size for dusk/dawn
