I recently purchased on here, an unfired Remington 700 CDL in 270 Winchester.
Did some loading to work up a decent combination for it.

Monday my 2 new Triggertech triggers arrived, so I dumped the X mark pro, and
installed one of them in this rifle, adjusted it to 2-¾ lbs. Reassembled the rifle,
Torqued the action screws, and adjusted the Leupold to be on paper.

Time to find out if this rifle is going to be as good as my last one like it, which I
have regretted selling from the day after I sold it. Dave.

Great, thanks!

Dave, don’t be shy to post up some pics of your new shooting iron. The Remington CDLs look great.

I've been using 130gr ttsx with 60gr of H4831sc, this has been a good load in my rifle. I got some RL 26 so will be trying that in the near future. Good find on that 270 Eagleye I'm sure it will drive tacks.

Well, no pics yet, but this rifle wants to shoot! I was also breaking in that barrel to help cleaning later, so several clean barrel
shots in the groups. Despite that, I have 3 groups here with the 140 Accubond and 140 Hunting Ballistic Tip, that are sub moa.
It was not a nice day out. Quite cool, and about a 25 kmh wind, with occasional stronger gusts.

I did note another thing that pleased me. This barrel cleans up quickly and easily. I was using Butches Bore Shine and KG-12
It did not pick up much copper at all, and the carbon cleaned out completely by the 5th patch. I have seen worse aftermarket
barrels to clean up. Had a VX3-L 3.5-10x50 B&C that needed a place to rest, so for now, that is the optics it is wearing.
I'll post pictures later. Dave.
