I have been building a "accurate" mosin for a fun project. found one with a excellent boar and drilled and taped a scope mount, hand made a wooden stock, did a little trigger work but was never happy with it. I wanted a timney trigger and now that I have decided to get one I cant find any way to purchase one in Canada. Has anyone ever purchased one in Canada? I know through the timney website that there is a list of Canadian retailers but they are expensive and not in stock?

any help would be appreciated

The reason they're so expensive is a combination of a low Canadian dollar, ITAR import fees and the fact that the Canadian retailers need to make a profit.

I'm a little bit jealous, none of the Mosins I've ever purchased came with a delicious swine, and I do love bacon.

Can't comment on where to get one but I can comment on it's feel/operation.

Got a decked out Mosin from the EE a while back, came with a Timney trigger fitted.

Easily one of the best longarm triggers I've ever used :D :D :D
