Timney Triggers vs Kidd Triggers for the Ruger 10/22

Evening Everyone.

I recently did a build on my old Ruger 10/22 that i have had in my closet for the last 28 years and made it into a tack pusher plinker.
i redid the entire gun from stock to barrel to optics then went internal with a tonne of Volquartsen parts.

that all done i have decided to kick out the stock trigger assembly and drop in a aftermarket one.
but i have never tried or even seen one so i am going to have to rely on the recommendations of you guys as to which one i pick up.

after looking around the internet it looks like i have 3 real good choices.

1) Timney 10/22 Complete Assembly
or
2) KIDD single stage drop-in trigger unit
or
3) KIDD two stage drop-in trigger unit

so my question to you all here at CGN is which one should i invest my money in?
the Timney or the Kidd?
which have you guys tried and liked and why?

thanks in advance for the help and im looking forward to hearing what you guys recommend.

*EDIT* i guess there is a 4th choice, i can stick with what i have in it right now, which is the factory assembly with Volquartsen HP Action Kit (target hammer which includes the shims and bushings), hammer spring, target disconnector, target sear and target trigger Includes polished plunger and spring, Bolt Tune up kit in which i replaced the extractor and firing pin.
so basically its the same as the Kidd and Timney set up, just its Volquartsen.

How much you want to spend is a good question.

KIDD is not cheap and timney not much less.

I use a timney myself, older drop in model and not the whole package deal they sell now. Great trigger out of the box and would recommend to anyone.

No experience at all with the KIDD models but the two stage sounds mighty sweet.

I use mine for both bench and hunting and works great. I had to send it in for a tuning from timney and they did it free of charge.
 
with what i have into this project already im not setting a price on it.
im already into this gun for so much that it will never leave me and be passed down to my kids and grandkids, haha

so im not looking at money, im just looking to pick up a real good trigger set up.
 
I put in a two stage KID and your gun will never be the same in a good way..it makes the whole gun. Figure out your safety because that trigger will snap with a blink. Cant comment on the others but i bet they would be nice. 360$ was harsh but so is a trip to Costco.

The timney I use doesn't have an over travel screw. But there is also no detectable travel after it breaks, which is set to 3.5lb. Crisp and clean and the reset is also short so snapping off strings are fast.
