Timney Triggers?

Who's got the best deal on timney triggers for a P14/17 ?

Finding a Timney trigger in this country is not easy, I wouldn't be too worried about the price, finding one is going to be your real problem. Try looking at Russel's I think they list them in their catalog.

Mauser have you brought 1 in lately, they are still considered a firearm part in the US hence permit is required by law. That being said not all suppliers adhere to their governments commands.
Amphibious I am placing an order monday with Brownells, if you want I can add it to my order, which has all the permits in place. Will run you $80.00 at your door. Please contact me at abtacrifle before noon monday if you want it added to the order

alberta tac is right about the $100 exemption, it does not apply if the item is an integral firearm part like a trigger.

No, not recently but long after 9-11. I bought a Dayton-Traister for a Mex Mauser about two years ago and after the US$100.00 limit was imposed on most gun parts.

Below is a quote from Brownells site when you click on 'Gun Parts'. I guess I'll be finding out soon as I need another Dayton trigger

Gun Parts:

******Disregard this note if shipping in the US. This note only pertains to International orders.******"

If gun parts exceed $100.00 OR an Action, Receiver, Frame, Cylinder, Barrel, Flash Hider or Military Scope is orderd a State Department License is required. If your order requires an export license our Export Department will contact you."

They have tightened up alot in the last 2 years. We used to be able to some business with a number of US based outfits, like Cabelas , Midway, Natchez etc. About 2 years ago Midway got caught shipping something to someone without a permit and #### hit the fan. Now most will not deal with us for fear that something may be found in error either by accident on ??
As I mentioned ,some still do not comply and thats makes it easier for us here, but if they do get caught, I gather the fines are substantial.

I bought a Timmey for P-17 from Numrich, their fees were less then Brownells. But they are quite leary about Canadian credit cards. Best go for the sure thing, the fees do stack up.
