Hey guys I have a no1 mk3 that's was tapped for a scope base long before I was born. This one is strictly used for hunting not a collectable at all. I bought a to1 base which lined up perfectly to the holes. Which rings do you guys suggest? At bass pro and cabelas all I see are .22 and airgun rings nothing that says tip off. I saw what looked to be a perfect mount it was a stoeger 1 piece with 4 side mount screws to the rail and a screw on top that you would screw down and would prevent the rings from sliding back. The box said .22 and airgun and I tried it in the rail and it did go on but it almost seemed as the grooves were not sharp enough to fully seat in the tip off base. Please help me guys.

The T-O1 uses 22 style rings. Tip-Off refers to the Weaver brand. This mount is not particularly robust - the design of the Weaver 22 rings are well suited for the mount. Some other rings tend to damage the rail upon firing (I has a set of Burris that did that.)
