Good Evening

I am looking to be safely under weight when weighing my F class rifle. Right now if my rifle is out in the rain i am over the 8.25 weight limit.

Can anyone point me in the right direction for Titanium bolts? I prefer the GTA as i would like to measure and order in person but mail order is always an option.

Much appreciated
Trevor

The only 'one-stop' type places that I ever knew of that stocked a wide variety of Ti. bolts and screws sold them to aircraft repair outfits at prices that would make a mob boss blush.

Pretty much gotta catch as can, know the sizes you need, head style etc., too, and shop around to find what you can.

If you have a metal lathe, no problem, some 6Al-4V from ebay and have at.

Cheers

I am an engineer at a nuclear reactor and sometimes we have to use Titanium for nuclear/chemical reasons, can you just imagine the cost of nuclear grade Ti bolts?

McMaster Carr, I use them for work. Generally receive shipments next day, its impressive. They have quite a selection of head styles as well. (www.mcmaster.com)

Also from working at the plant. McMaster Carr, while I order from them at work, they won't deal with Canadians anymore unless you are a big company/had an account with them before the new policy.

Pacific Fasteners ltd used to sell titanium fasteners (I bought some from them years ago), not sure if they still do, but I believe they have an office in Toronto, they may be able to help.

Most of our custom fasteners come from Niagara Fasteners in Ontario, if that is what you need to do. It could be just they have nuclear grade QA.
