Hi, i am getting low on VVN320, and will dip in my titegroup i had purchased for backup.
I intend on using it now as VVN320 pricing is now exagerated with its high demand and low availability.
These are my current loads with VVN320, i will start lower when i start titegroup and chrono, but was curious of knowing peoples opinions between the burn rate of both powders.

.40SW : 4.9gr of VVN320, zero 200gr FMJ FP, 1.190"OAL, 178PF
9mm : 3.9gr of VVN320, Zero 147gr FMJ, 1.145"OAL, 138PF (i know but i prefer my 9mil snappier as its a smaller step switching to .40 when i shoot lots of 9mm)

Thanks for looking!

Tite group is faster than vv320. Your loads seem on the hot side but it sounds like you're on the right track starting lower. At least you have powder to work with lol

Ah you see, i had seen from an unreliable source, that TG and VvN320 were the same speed, but wouldnt have taken that info for granted and just load them to same specs.

Then i will ask another question for fun, how much TG are you guys using in 147gr 9mm and in 200gr .40?

Thanks for the charts guys, will use TG with caution, and drop it .4/.5 grains compared to VVN320, until chrony confirms I can add some up

Even if it was the same burn rate it doesn't mean you can just change out the reloading data. Burn rate does cover density of the powder unless I've missed something. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

That VV burn rate chart differs from others I've seen. They are showing wst as one of the fastest powders. Winchester lists it as slower than titegroup?
