I bought the fixed stock version of TM22 from IRG. But wondering if there is any adjustable stock for it.

I heard it used commercial spec tube.

anyone did this mod ?

Yes it worked great. I had to flip the lock plate around and drill out the dimple on it fit over the screw on the derya. If I was more computer savvy I would post a pic.

If you need I can see if my parts are still kicking around from mine, I took the adjustable off and replaced it with an A1 stock.

sure let me know. in that case, i need to just swap it rather than changing the buffer tube as well right ?

Please PM me and we can work it out. Thanks for the offer.

The end plate on the adjustable version of the tm22 is similar to an AR 15 in that it indexes the tube with a notch, only difference is that instead of a dimple in the plate to lock into the receiver, it has a hole that fits over a fixed screw in the receiver. You can retain the end plate and use any mil spec or commercial tube, then use whatever compatible stock you want. The threads in the receiver are the same as any buffer tube, in case you are wondering.

I assume the fixed version of the tm22 uses the same end plate so if that's the case you can simply swap in a new buffer tube. No modifications needed, just the replacement tube and stock.

I'd recommend finding one you like, and I'd go mil spec for the wider range of options but if you want my offer still stands, the cost of shipping the parts.

I put a fixed A2 stock on mine, so deleted the end plate and just had to put a dimple in the stock for the receiver screw to recess in it and keep it indexed.

I have the fixed stock/short handguard version of the TM22, and the factory endplate will not fit a regular milspec tube. The index nub is far too wide, and the diameter of the hole a smidge too small.

The tube threads into the receiver just fine, but I'm going to have to hog out the plate with a dremel or something.

I stand corrected, I guess that's why there's a saying about assuming things.....

If I can muddle my way through taking accurate measurements, I'd like to get a new plate cut. If it works, maybe a few dozen of them :)

Not a fan of the sling attachment point...would rather it were more of an arch rather than rectangular.
