Hey guys,

Has anyone purchased one these "flaming pig" type muzzle devices from TNA and actually got rounds down range with it? Ive never bought an "offshore" muzzle device before and am very skeptical on doing so. The price is great as id rather not spend 200$ on a Noveske if this works just as good.

Cheers

I have a Kx3 and I've taken the time to pull it apart. I can't think of any good reason why a clone wouldn't function properly unless whoever is making them is an absolute butcher. Having said that if you're going to take the plunge I'd verify if it's Kx3 or Kx5 profile. Kx5's will fit under low profile handguards, Kx3's won't.

The handguard that im looking at is the Aero precision models for the M4E1 enhanced upper which has an inside diameter of 1.72". The knock off TNA swine measure 1.37 so its got plenty of room to fit.

That's a reasonably big rail then. You shouldn't have any issues.

if you are looking for a knock off of the noveskie then dlask arms make one , i had one in my shop last year that a customer wanted installed.
seems well made, have not seen the chinese one that TNA has.

I'll be able to give a range report on one this coming Saturday. I'll be out function testing my new 5.56 build.

If you want to do some measurements on the inner diameters of it I can do the same on the Kx3 and it would give everyone a decent idea as to how they should function comparatively.

Thanks I will take a look. I really like the S&J Linear comp but damn why only 2"! lol
because anything longer is not needed.
the inside of the Linear comp is machined out to allow the gas to expand, then pushed out of the ports in the front, simple slight and very strong.
also the other issue is we already have 7 skus for that item, give to many options.

I have a dlask on a 10.5 barrel in an Aero 12 inch handguard. Fits perfectly and was exactly look I was after. Functions fine and cheaper than noveske

Outside diameter of the can 1.240"

Hard to say but I believe inside diameter of main can 0.985"

Inside diameter of small cone end of front piece is 0.395"

Tested it today, if certainly works as advertised. Directed sound and muzzle blast away from shooter. When I let my girlfriend fire the rifle I was able to stand back and observe the blast going directly away from her in a cone shape, it was pretty cool to see.

Heading to bed shortly, but I'd be happy to oblige tomorrow. That knurled version looks good.

Thanks for the update man. I'm hoping to put together my upper tomorrow and hit the range soon.
