TNW MG42 semi-auto with 50rnd belt (Canadian export)

Would you be able to bring in the TNW MG42 semi-auto with 50rnd belt (Canadian export) ?

TNW does not make a Semi Auto MG42....

They make a Semi Auto MG34 though... and there are dealers that have them in stock right now. I suspect Wolverine might as well.

Wise-Lite Arms makes a Semi Auto MG42, but I do not believe it is approved for import, nor does it have an FRT.

DUDE!!!!! I stand corrected!!

I was literally at there site 2 days ago, and it was the old site that mentioned they were only in the process of designing a new Semi MG42... And now today, new website, AND they have an MG42!!!!!!!

FU$KIN EH!!!!!!!!!

*Happy Dance*

i was just thinking the same thing! so there must be an FRT if its a "canadian export". can anyone confirm this for us?

Perhaps they are working off of Marstars design from a few years ago?? I believe they had an FRT for that one, but it was going to cost too much to manufacture in Canada for sales here...

TNW and Marstar, I believe, still have a working relationship... Perhaps they have something going on???

Excited.... EXCITED!!!!

Easy there now. You should know better since your still waiting for an M37 that doesn't even have an FRT number yet. Just because its made for us doesn't mean its approved.

And the only two outfits that have agreements with TNW are Marstar and North Sylva. It would be awesome if someone took over TNW from North Sylva though. ;)

I ran the FRT after seeing this. There are currently no TNW MG42's approved as non restricted in Canada. There is only one brand of MG42 showing as non restricted and I believe it was listed as being made by Zastava. Is that the Marstar gun?

We are like everyone else waiting on the importer who I understand is waiting for RCMP approval. We know that their inspections are a lot more detailed and the "ease of conversion" is studied in detail now. Given the high cost which limits the market I do not think anyone is giving these the priority some of us would like. When we have news on any models we will post it.
