To all the M14s/M305 guys...

... where do you get your upgrade parts when you decide to go that route?

I notice that Smith Enterprises and Fulton Armory have some awesome components, but do they ship to Canada? And what about the $100 limit - do they have export permits to handle that kind of thing?

I know a lot of guys upgrade and tinker with their M14s/M305 Norincos, and being that I'm a new owner of one (it's shipping as we speak), I'm trying to et the jump on any future improvements.

I know Marstar and Fabsports have parts for them. They are CGN dealers so just look up ^, find their banner, and you can see what kind of stuff they have in stock.

-some guys here bought the smith 2024 mount while it was on sale, directly

I don't have my m14 upstairs here but from memory here are my upgrades and source:

usgi fiberglass stock: fabsports
scope: EE
rings: local shop
popsicle stick: no name brand
acraglass bedding kit: brownells
harris 2R adaptor: brownells

at one point my gas system was shimmed, boguht the shims from marstar, now I'm unitized though so no need for shims
