To Beretta 92FS owners, is this part supposed to be loose?

Never pay attention to this part, but just notice mine is in loose condition. When I shake the pistol, I can hear the loosing "click" sound. And wondering if it's normal.

I would not say lose but it does move up and down just a bit...

yes loose, it lifts when pulling the trigger to deactivate firing pin block.
