I have a tikka T3 lite 270 WSM, a Tikka sporter 308, a Vanguard 300 Weatherby and a Benelli R1 30-06

Im considering trading my Tikka T3 270 WSM for a Sako 85 Stainless in a 270 or 270 WSM with the synthetic stock - Just missed a great deal on one for $1200 A few reasons - Ammo for the 270 is 1/2 the price of a 270 WSM and Im really not certain I need the 270 WSM since I have a 300 Wby. Secondly - IS teh Sako really a step up or am I better just to save up for a cooper etc?

So the question - Is it worth it to trade in my Tikka T3 for a Sako 85. Will I notice much difference in accuracy, handling etc

i got to shoot a 85 the other day in 338wm. very nice rifle. accuracy i dont know you would see much differnace between the two. handleing wize your going to have to test your self

You really don't need the .270 either if you have the .308. LOL

That said if your gonna have an unnecessary gun in the safe it might as well be one that uses cheaper ammo. I passed up a good deal on a .270 WSM recently because of that reason.

Sako's eject really wimpy! My finnlight wouldn't eject without my brass hitting scope and falling back into chamber.Tried different bases and it didn't help.Sent gun back to Sako and they made the problem worse! I now shoot an X-bolt and really like it
