"I've never felt this good at the Olympics," said Rhode, 33, who won gold in women's skeet, her fifth shooting medal, 16 years after her first in the double trap event. She'll take aim at another medal Saturday in the trap or "bunker" event. Furthermore, she has already committed to competing in 2016 and likely beyond.

Impressive indeed.

This medal more so than all the others combined, as she has been battling breast cancer the last 5 years and had her shotgun stolen.

I remember reading an article about her several years ago when someone asked her what she did if she missed a target. She said she locked the thrower on that presentation and shot a flat of shells at that target.

Pretty gritty shooter.
