to paint the scope or not

well like the title says i am trying to decide wether to refinish the new scope on my 300 win mag *cough cough* precision *cough* rifle to match the finish on the rifle.

so what say you folks
do i i re finish to match the stone finish of the rifle or leave it matte black

Just do it......................don't be chicken you will love the results, unless you plan on changing scopes soon.............Black scopes are boring........

I say go for it . Here are pics of the camo job I did for my hunting partner, matching stock with scope and rings .

If you can actually paint, Go for it!
But make sure you don't do a whoops and get paint where it ought not to be or paint your moving parts together.
