Hey guys I have a Mosin 91/30 with a post war stock that has chipped shellac everywhere. It would look nice if not for all these chips so I was wondering what everyones opinions on refinishing Mosin stocks are? I hate having to ruin anything original on any milsurp but would like to maybe give it a shot since it is pretty rough. If this was a wartime stock I would leave it but its your typical post war variety.
