No way of knowing this without seeing where actual impact is. Just because the target is 48" doesn't mean his group is 48".

Well he does miss a few...so 48" group is probably on the generous side.

That's why we love that channel so much.We can out shoot him with our old battle worn SKS's. even with an elephant sized target.He makes us feel good about our shooting skills again.

I personally like the SKS. It's a good starter riffle into centre fire ammo.
Easy to take down and clean. Cheap ammo. And not a big recoil.
It's never going to be, or never intended to be anything but a close range combat riffle.
But it is fun to shoot.
