Hi Folks,

I've been eyeing a spuhr mount with a bubble level in it for a while now, and the other day I got to test out a Chinesieum fantastic amazon mount with a bubble level on it under the scope.

I find that the bubble level was hard to see, and perhaps even useless where its position is.

Out of curiosity, those much more experienced and who uses a bubble level on their scope mounts, where do you place your level, and how much do you find yourself using it?

Thanks!

On the scope tube upper left.

Visible to my left eye when I am behind the gun.

I use it all the time for both accuracy shooting and long distance.

I was wondering that myself, now if you could attach it to the scope rings, would you?

What is the bubble level that you are currently using?

I am using an accuracy 1st anti-cant device. It solves some of the problems with bubble levels.

The ring levels or one-piece ones are good too. It is mostly personal preference.

I will try to get a pic to show you how it looks.

I also use the Accuracy 1st levels on most of my scopes. Mounted on the left side in front of the parallax knob. Easy to see with my non dominant eye when I'm behind the scope. The small levels on the bottom of some scope rings/mounts don't work for me.

Just like this

The first level I tried out was a Vortex tube mounted. Level sits just off to the side of the tube. Can be positioned top or bottom, left or right. It’s ok and I still have it. I’ve tried a couple integral ring mounted levels since and they aren’t my flavour. What I’ve found and prefer is a Flatline Ops. Tube mounted and can be utilized in the folded in position on top of the tube or to the side when flipped out. I prefer running it on the left side when flipped out. Easy to see and doesn’t block my adjustment knob for parallax. I mount them just in front of my rear rings.

My preference is a Spuhr mount I like where the level is positioned

If I'm using a separate bubble level I put it in front of the elevation turret like jiffx2781
