So I just bought a bushnell 6500 tactical and I have a question about zeroing the scope since the owners manual seems to be fairly vague. To zero this scope, when I set the turrets to zero I wind up with the turrets several revolutions up on the scale. I'm up about 3 and half complete revolutions from the bottom. Is there any way to set the scope so that my zero is actually zero on the scale or do I just lose this amount of adjustment range when I zero the scope? The owners manual has a solution for the regular 6500 scope but not for the tactical turrets. I would think that there should be an ability to set your windage to the middle or your elevation to the bottom of the scale so that when the scope is zeroed to the rifle, the scale under the turret reads zero. Is there a way to do this???
