I spent last week on one of Todd Jarett's courses before I went to the Area 8 championships. If you ever have a chance to take one of Todds courses I highly recommend it. He's a great guy and an excellent intructor.

I saw him give a talk at the Vegas Shot Show Para Booth, a few years back, very entertaining guy, was fun to watch.

He left Para, Para picked up Travis, and when the bottom fell out and Para got sold to the Freedom Group, they discontinued their relationship with Travis.

I've chatted with Todd a few time at big matches - cool guy.

I had an awesome time...I just hope my IDPA friends will still speak to me :)

Todd is a great guy, tons of fun, his girlfriend (who's name I always forget) is also a ton of fun. Todd is a grumpy old man though, lol, just forwarning ya
 
Same on the Todd Jarrett videos for myself.

Very small list of people who I would pay to teach me pistol stuff and TJ is on that list.

Hey Sean
Travis is still working with Para, actually spoke with him this weekend at Area 8 and in fact he is working on getting Para back into the competition market ...granted more with single stack division.

Also Para has sponsored a Junior - Lee Wills ...great little kid and a decent A class single stack shooter...does a lot of work for wounded soldiers ...his dads a major in the forces ...his older brother Jesse is a great revolver shooter

Todd is a great guy, i have had many opportunities to squad with him (including the US Nationals 2 years ago) - he was actually going to be in my squad at Area 8 this weekend but shoot the match on Friday instead of Saturday. The one thing i have learned from Todd is never watch him game a stage and figure thats the best way and shoot it the way he gamed it before him .. you will quickly find out he games it the way he will shoot it only once or twice but spends a lot more time on gaming it the other way ...so of course because he is Todd others in the squad say well thats the way he is going to shoot it it must be best - but he might surprise you when he actually shoots it....LOL
 
I have attended three of Todd's course and all have been excellent. I am currently making arrangement with him to teach a couple of classes at the TMSA range in BC. I will be seeing him at the US Nationals next week, and I will finalize the dates at that time. Once I have done this I will make a formal announce about the classes. They will be held in the Spring. Stay tuned for more info.
