Tokarev aftermarket wood grips

[Pre-1898]

I have a Chinese Tokarev in 9mm and I really did not like the grips and the
'' cheesy '' thumb safety on it so I have decided to get rid of both grips and the safety. Removing this '' aftermarket Improvised'' safety leaves 3 unsighly holes (2 screws and safety itself) so I have decided to find a nice set of grips that will hide these holes.

Now I can say that I REALLY like it !

I bought these from Marschallgrips.com and put them on my Russian TT-33

I really like the palmswell. It makes the gun much more comfortable to shoot so when I bought a Norinco 213 in 9mm I bought these for it:

I actually like the safety on this one. It seems solid and reliable unlike the safeties that were added to the American imports to meet regulations.

That's my biggest pet peeve with the Tok's is the lack of palm swell and the angle of the grip. I find it very uncomfortable and unnatural.

The 7.62X25 round is pretty stout and I was finding that my hand got sore after only 20 rounds or so with the original configuration. With the Marschall Grips my hand never gets sore no matter how many rounds I shoot and my accuracy increased. I highly recommend them if the angle is bothering you.

I have heard that some people actually prefer the stock orientation so I guess it depends on how the gun fits your hand.

Those Marschall Grips really change the look of the gun. I like it.

I got a set from Marschal as well. Hated the lanyard ring, so I buzzed it off and installed a set of full side grips. IMHO, it looks 100 times better and feels great!

Bought it on eBay. Tokarev molded holster
