I just recently purchased a tokarev from SFRC and the thing came in very good condition. I have yet to fire it but have spend the last couple weeks familiarizing myself with it (dry firing, dissassembly, cleaning, etc) today I took it out of the cabinet and notice where on the Pin it used to look like a small flathead screw only it is not threaded. So anyways I noticed that it was broken right clean break along with the slot was. It was of been faulty from the beginning.
So my question is since this is more than likely a 10 cent part, will SFRC (whom I just email) do you think they will just send a new pin or can I locktight the old one as one good slap on the side of it will knock the pin out now where before it was not an issue. It just sucks because it was a perfect purchase and experience until this but again that is just my luck. SFRC has been great so far so hopefully they are able to come up with a solution or possibly a fellow cgner might have a old box of parts and would be willing to help a CNGer out.
At the very least if someone can help me get this gun back into firing conditon and safe without spending that much money as there has to be whole parts kits you can get for these things but for now I just need the pin. Thank you very much
