Just got my used in excellent ++ condition very nice shape good bluing ect.

I cleaned and oiled it, when I try to load a round the base gets stuck in the guides of the hammer/sear assembly, so much so the it forces them outwards and makes the slide stiff from the resistance.

I gave it a drench of g96 and it improves a little bit still jams, following rounds also jam.

any tips from someone with experience with a tok?

Is this a real Tokarev or a Norinco clone?

this is a norinco made tokarev, both the steel cased surplus and the brass commercial stuff jams.

the front guides are not bent, but there profile on the underside is squared and that is what it trapping the case. I assume the barrel is 7.62tt, it is not marked in caliber but the serial # matches the gun.
