Tokarev parts kits 9mm and 7.62x25

What we really need (and by 'we' I mean I) is a threaded barrel (in x25 of course) for the Tok.
Considering how many of these there are out there, I'm very surprised it doesn't exist.

Wtf are these prices?

Got 2 for $250 right before the ban from a retailer. I get you're stuck with stock but $400 for a parts kit of a surplus gun that cost $219.99 on a bad day?!

Twice the price and no magazine!

Best practice is to leave them on the retailers shelves. If you want to price gouge then you get stuck with it

If these were $99 ea I would buy 3. At this price I buy zero.

It's cheaper to place an ad on the ee for a stripped Tok less receiver and pay the person back for his pistol.

Hey Guys,
With the changes to federal law, we can no longer import these firearms as complete guns, and being that they're chinese we can't work with our usual partner in the States. We did find a European partner who's willing to disassemble the guns for us, and ship them over as parts kits only, and obviously this incurrs an additional cost on our side in terms of the physical labor, but also the permits/regulations and transport associated with it.

While the parts kits currently on sale on our site are older / less expensive stock, we have to price the kits to be near the replacement cost of the parts. I can't sell a 9mm Tokarev parts kit for $300 if it costs us $400 to replace it, I similarly can't sell a 7.62x25 parts kit for $225 if it costs us $315 to replace it.

The price is based on our replacement cost, due to the change in how we have to procure these thanks to our Liberal overlords. Obviously these prices will change if we find someone willing to do the work at a lower rate, or if we're able to import complete firearms again in the future.

Thanks,
Payam

im a bit confused, in the future why cant part kits be shipped from china to canada directly? also if these are old stock why does it have to go overseas for disassembly, cant your gunsmith do it?
