Tokarev rear sight adjustment question

My Tokarev hits 8" to the left of the center at 25 yards.

How do I adjust rear sight? Please help!

Before you go too far try placing the trigger in the first joint of your trigger finger and hold on to the pistol with a very tight grip when pulling the trigger. You might not need to adjust the sights much.

My Polish Tok is off too. At first I thought it was me anticipating recoil, or maybe that dark spot on the bore was affecting things. But over time, as I got more consistent with my technique, this gun became more consistently off target. I learned to compensate my aim at 25yds, and it does ok for what it is.

I finally bought a laser bore sighter, and sure enough the sights are off so the gun aims to the right. The rear sight is matched to the centre mark on the slide, so either it's marked wrong or the front blade is installed wrong.

To get back to the OP, I need to move the rear sight to the left to line it up with where the gun is pointing. Taps with a brass punch aren't doing it. Should I just escalate my effort? apply heat or penetrating oil? Any ideas would be great.
