Tokarev reassembly tightness

I reassembled my Tokarev after cleaning a while back and the action was kinda "sticky" when I function-tested it. Like I had to pull extra hard to make the hammer go back. It seemed there was more resistance. Did I do something wrong? Is it possible to reassemble a Tokarev incorrectly? Or did I just forget how "tight" the action is and was caught off guard? Any experiences with this?

The Tokarev has a really heavy hammer. I dont really see how it could be put back together wrong.

Im pretty sure you didnt do anything wrong. Ive reassembled mine about 30 times and the slide is next to impossible to rack without cocking the hammer first.
