A buddy of mine has a 1952 Polish Tokarev TT33 pistol chambered for .22 caliber. It takes an insert for the .22 cal shells to fit in the magazines. Does anyone have any info on where to purchase these inserts or any info on this caliber size. The only caliber info we have found for these pistols is for 7.62x25. He believes the pistol was purchased from SIR about 17 years ago already converted to .22. They were contacted but couldn't offer any help. Could this gun have come from the factory with the conversion kit installed? Is there any way to convert back to 7.62x25 or 9mm?
