Tokarev's aren't accurate...

Mine would be great if it didn't have a 20 pound trigger pull......:(

My trigger finger literally is in pain after 40 rounds.

Hard to shoot anything accurately with a trigger like that.

So far no luck finding a good guide for a trigger job either...

Mine has a decent trigger pull, not that bad at all. Just a new pistol to get used to before I can shoot it well. Takes me a while.

The biggest hurdle I think people face with this pistol is that in its STOCK form it is meant to be shot one handed...not many people have much practice with that.

Teapot2 on this forum suggested that I polish the trigger return spring to improve mine. I did that and it helped. If your trigger pull is 20lbs I would think there is some cosmoline or grit in there somewhere. You can cycle it without the slide on if you hold down the hammer group while pulling the trigger. Be sure to avoid getting your fingers caught in the hammer. Try it with, and without the magazine. If it is gritty with the magazine in then the trigger is making contact with it. I haven't taken the hammer group apart in any of my TT's. I have just polished the trigger and the return spring.
