too much of the wrong powder?

I just reloaded some 30-06 shells with 55gr. of IMR 4350 and 165gr. Nosler Ballistic tips. The data I used was supposed to be for H4350 powder. This is my first attempt at reloading. As far as I can tell this is still under maximum loads. Is this a safe starting point? The rifle is an autoloader.

Any comments would be appreciated, Thanks
 
The Hornady manual with their 165gr bullets list a starting load of 48gr and a max of 57gr for IME4350. It's a different bullet but still within the parameters. I say your fine but that's just me.

The Nosler manual shows 53 grains of IMR 4350 as the starting load with 57 being max load. Watch for signs of pressure as your rifle may reach it's limit before reaching near max loads. Being an auto loader I would use a small base die if you have one resize your brass for the auto.Start lower and work up.
55 grains should work fine,be sure of your overall length and make sure the reloaded bullets fit your magazine.
