I finally gave it a good workout at the range and, well, the grin factor is way high. Flawless operation, mags drop freely, but i do go through a lot of ammo

I've got parts coming to build another one. Not sure if i'll do the whole lefty conversion though.

Thats kinda the point, ammo sales have been down, so we needed to encourage....LOL Glad you are enjoying it!! Dave.

that is a neat build, I like the mag adaptor and the left handed charging handle, I am a righty, but I usually flip the sks sideways and use my left hand to rack the action so I don't have to move my shooting hand. I am going to keep this in mind for possible project in the future.
