Took my M&P to the range for the first time today

And while I did clean the gun to the best of my ability at the moment, I wasn't really able to clean the magazine. What is the best way to clean the followers, as mine became pretty dirty
 
I can't recall off hand right now the magazine disassembly for the M&P, but you can go low tech and blow it out with an air compressor. Scrub the top of the follower with an old toothbrush. All done.:p
 
Using the take down tool or similar sized punch, insert into the hole on the bottom of the magazine and press. Slide the baseplate forward off the mag body. Spring and follower are under tension so keep your hand cupped over the end. Pull out the spring and attached follower to clean.
Installation is the reverse.
 
I find the followers on my M&P mags tend to get pretty dirty. Make sure to scrub them really good(with some sort of polymer safe mild solvent or CLP) and then just wipe them down with some patches. Taking the magazines apart in the way said above allows you to really clean the followers.
