Took my ws-mcr out for the first time today

Magically it didn't shoot anyone by itself on our outing.

Ok but seriously, what a great rifle, between my crossmags, lar mags, and random steel ar mags I had laying around no issues whatsoever. That was until I put some 62 grain .223 through it. No bueno. Does not like it all. Had double feeds, jams all sorts of issues. 55 grain ran smooth again no issues.

Interesting, mine runs factory and hand loaded 55s, 62s (handloads that were for my AR) and hand loaded 75s with no issues in all the mags I've tried (polymer and metal) other than Pmags which just don't work.

Thanks for posting your experiences with the WS-MCR. I plan to take min out shooting this weekend for the first time and I have a combination of 62gr and 55gr bullets to fire. I'll post my personal findings this weekend.

It could very well be the ammo. I had the same issue in my su-16.

With the 55 grain all my mags worked no problem

No I looked up some 73 grain recipes yesterday and it had same coal as 55 grain
