It took 6 months of searching high and low, but I found an Waa88 proofed mag to go with my waa88 CYQ P38.
A small victory but Im happy.

The e/88 marking on these Spreewerk manufactured magazines is very tiny
and difficult to photograph.
These mags are not that easy to find.....congratulations.

(You know..... it took you six months to find the e/88 marked Spreewerk magazine.)

I was lucky enough years ago to find the P.38 soft shell holster shown below dated 1943 (code "fkx") to fit with this August 1943 manufactured Spreewerk "cyq" coded pistol.

The upward closing straps on P.38 holsters are typical of some early 1943 dated soft shell holsters made by a few manufacturers, in 1944 the closing straps were mostly downward.
