Well, i dont know where theres a stat and im too lazy to look right now, but id say that 7.62X39 (same round as the AK) has killed quite the handful.

I tend to agree (about the handful, I can't comment on the laziness)- there wouldn't be hundreds of millions (exaggerating?) of these things in the world if they weren't man-stoppers right?
