Dropped the money for a new ruger 22/45 today at TSE. Just waiting until the CFO approves the transfer and a STATT before she comes home! :dancingbanana:

Good luck to you finding out what ammo your gun likes the most, thank god rimfire is cheap.

Yes it is possible. I'm waiting on a new .22 pistol being shipped from the other end of the country myself and it WILL be just like Christmas morning when it arrives.

Talking about it on forums like this only marginally reduces the buildup.... :D

if you don't mind me asking, what did you pay for your new ruger 22/45? i've been interested in getting into handgunning, and have more-a-less decided on a ruger mk-something, or the 22/45.

anybody know where in alberta to get the best price, or what the usual going rate is?
 
Mine was $339 + tax. I got the last one at TSE, but they still have MK3's still there I believe for about $5 less.

Wholesale sports I believe has them to but the last time I checked they were sold out, but that was well over a month ago, so they might've gotten more. They're a tad cheaper there too... I'm an impatient ass. :)
 
I prefer the grip of the MKIII and am planning to buy one again. However, I like the updated features on the 22/45 and there is no difference in accuracy. I can miss with either one :D so the gun is a keeper. At least, for now... :p

Ruger came home today! Ala bouncing with happiness!

And I think the CFO must like me or something, they faxed and short term and long term ATT at the same time to TSE when I picked it up. o_O :)
