Afternoon CGN'ers,
I'm looking to get a new stock / rail mount / maybe swap out the forend of a Remington 870 and was wondering what tools I may need?
I heard a Philips screwdriver, long flatnose screwdriver, wooden dowel/hammer, and curved needle-nose pliers were the basics although I can't seem to find specific sizes needed for the firearm (I don't have a ton of experience when it comes to tools and I know there are many different sizes to each one of those). If it helps I've ordered parts for my build from: Mesa Tactical and Magpul.
Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated ;)

alright for those 40 or so that looked but couldn't respond (I guess just as curious about the tools as me) I snagged some tools and have run some tests. For the stockpad a #1x3" Philips screwdriver fits perfect and for getting that main screw out to detach the stock a 3/8" x 12" flatnose screwdiver works (doesn't have to be that long but doesn't hurt) also found that an allen key set works for knocking out the pins to get the trigger group out (just put a cloth over top not to scratch and tap it out with a hammer, front and back pins are different sizes so the set helps with sizing)
