Hey there! Trying to do a quick look at top folding or telescoping stocks available for Rem 870s. I want something sturdy and solid. .

What do you guys have and/or recommend?

Anyone fiddled with a Sage International telescoping stock?

Many thanks!

I was looking into top-folders a while back and the consensus was that the top fodlers are either cheap junk (ATI), pricey (Rem LE) or offer no cheek weld (Choate). I was pointed towards either the Butler Creek or Choate folding stocks for something that makes the shotgun more compact and maintains it's usability.

As far as the telescopic stocks go, I used the Knoxx NRS stock on my Maverick 88 for a year or so and while it handled well and was accurate, I had to really press my face into the stock to get a good sight picture with a plain bead. As such, I was pasted in the cheek with every shot. The adapters for AR15 stocks and grips all look to have a bit more drop in them so this may not be a problem.

I can't comment on the Sage stock other than it looks heavy (but badass)
