It's a NOS (New Old Stock) Savage 10P-SR in 308 I got on sale from another dealer. Barrel length is 19" & it takes detachable OEM double stack mags. Scope is a Bushnell Nitro 4-16x44 with 30mm tube, again from yet another dealer on sale... Can you tell I'm a 'deal guy', lol!
What I found was it kicked quite hard for what it is, a 'measly' 308, and since it is 'suppressor ready' with a threaded barrel, I decided to throw a brake on it.
Flash forward to my 2nd range trip with various ammo & I can say that it shows promise wrt being a sub 1" rifle. It seems to REALLY like the Sako hunting ammo I bought several years ago when they had that promo sale! And that stuff prints close to the Norma Match you see in the pic, so I'm pleased.
As with most things in life, things come & go, but in the short time I've had this rifle I can say I really like it & as best I can tell it's a keeper!
