torque spec enfield guard screw

can someone tell me what the inch/lb torque should be for a sporter enfield #4mk2 front(main) guard screw? I have it about 40 in/lb now, thanks

torque/smorque ! It's good to go.

So many today think every screw needs to be torqued... just make it good and tight and don't worry about an exact figure...

Well - If the king screw has the steel bushing, and its sized properly, then the torque need not be precise.

It's a Lee-Enfield, for God's sake! do you think every armourer during the wars had an inch-pound torque limiting screwdriver sitting on his bench? How did we manage?
