Hi Guys,

I'm wondering if someone can provide me me with the torque specs for Kimber synthetic stocks. I've read on online that it's 65 in/lbs. The screws on my Talkeetna came off at about 35i in/lbs so I'm not sure if the 65 in/lbs is correct.

Thanks,

Mik

65lbs is ridiculous. On my wrench, I usually go around 30lbs for everything except rings. Rings I usually keep it around 20lbs. 65lbs seems excessive,

Don't worry about it. Crank em tight, leave em loose, Kimbers don't shoot. Interweb experts can't be wrong.

Buy a Salvage. Slap a Boyd's plywood stock on it and you will have a winner.

Good luck. From what I've heard they are good shooters. I just got around to cleaning mine for the first time after having it for at least two months now. Hoping to take it to the range shortly.

I just got one. It's so light, I'm more than a little afraid of it!

It's new to me, made in 2008, so fingers crossed regarding how it shoots!
