ok i know its been asked before and will get asked a thousand pazillion times again..
so here goes


HOW ON EARTH do you open those things.
It looks like a Sardine can from HELL.

I used a crowbar, hooked a ring and pulled.
If the rings snap off, use heavy vise grips and a crowbar.

There are different kinds of cans. The soldered ones you just pull the tabs. The sardine can style are crimped & you need to cut it open with an industrial strength can opener or chisel.

Typically the sardine cans come two to a crate with one industrial size can opener, the kind that is on a pocket knife, but about a soup spoon ish size. If you ever order a can like this, ask if the seller has some spare openers.
