I have a may 30th transfer ref of 5880### and an aug 24th ref number of 6011###

which puts it at 131,000 transfers since the announcement as of today. note that many transfers likely contain more then one gun (I think?). lots are likely person to person and not new sales as well.

it would be interesting to know the total number of new sales.
 
I didn’t pay attention to my transfer numbers but before the third of June I didn’t have a single handgun in my inventory, as of this week I have 8 and I’m waiting for 5 more to approve, most were person to person some were bought from stores, so long as I have money I’ll keep buying more till I can’t anymore

Fantastic. I find it rather funny that Truduh’s plan with the freeze and making handguns basically valueless, had the complete opposite effect from what he had intended. Looks good on the buffoon.

A single transfer can have up to 20.
 
Two of my transfers have two revolvers on them...

So yup, the actual # of handguns is MORE than the number of transfer numbers issued.
