Hi Everyone!

I'm totally new to all of this. I live south of Ottawa, and looking to get into shooting. Would appreciate some help from someone local that could show me the ropes if you have time.

Suzane is a friend of mine who is interested in learning the shooting sports, but has not had the fortune of knowing anyone who already shoots that can show her how.

I mentioned to her that I am sure there are some members here that could likely help her out!! I'd be honored to teach her, but just live to far away.

I have a friend who moved to Cardinal not long ago. Bought her a copy of the PAL safety book 2 years back for her birthday (she asked for one!). Not sure if she ever wrote the test though.. I'll have to ask her when she comes down next month.

Hello all,
Just signed up! Had a friend recommend the site. Having a little trouble though. I followed all the instructions but am not able to view most of the threads. For example when i try to view the EE forum it tells me there are no posts. Anyone who can tell me what to do, i'd greatly appreciate it.

True. In fact I think you are the second woman to join this month, well that I have noticed at least. I just bought my daughter a Henry Mini bolt for her up coming 10th B-Day this June ( Don't think I will be able to wait that long to give it to her though :D) so I am hoping she will join the ranks of woman who are enjoying the sport.

Good to hear you found cgn - as a newbie it's pretty much guaranteed someone out there will give you a hand learning and trying out some new guns. Only danger to that is that you'll soon find you can't afford all the toys on the list!
 
I hope that you have a great time both shooting and learning about shooting. CGN is a great source of information (Much of it good and some of it just plain nonsense.)

Experience is not required around here and never hesitate to ask about anything at all. Hope someone steps up who can fill in the hands-on department for you too.
