tough time finding 8mm mauser

Wondering where a good place to get some 8mm ammo, surplus or new production, in S. Ontario or online. haven't been able to find any except from lever arms currently.

Al Simmons in Hamilton had a good selection of factory 8mm Mauser ammo when I was there in July. Might be worth a call ahead just in case.

New production is sporadic but usually someone has a box or two even if its not the ideal price. Surplus ammo does come up every once in a while. You have to keep your eyes open and jump on it when it does.

The only factory hunting rounds I have seen recently around here are 170 gr. RN Core lokts.
