Toz 22

I have an old Russian toz 22 it's in good condition but is missing it's rear sight does anyone know the value of these and where I can find a rear sight

You'd be better off buying a rear peep sight that fits the grooved receiver, perfect sight picture with the hooded front!
Tradex might still have some extra mags if your looking......

Jut dug it it out also needs a front sight previous owner filed it off would show you but I'm having trouble finding how to put pictures here from my phone

It's ok, I can just use my imagination.......
Bummer about the front sight as it works great with a rear peep.

If you really want irons, I'd still go for a peep and then I guess you could cut a dovetail into what ever's left where the sight used to be...... probably make more sense to put a red dot or scope on it and leave it as is.

They are accurate rifles so a nice little rimfire scope would not be such a bad thing.

It does have a scope on it I just prefur open sights

Then exchange it for a Cooey 60/600 (tube mag) or a Mk II (clip mag). Should be about same price range than a Toz99 with the sights useless.
