TOZ-99 (pic & question)

Hi guys
I have a TOZ-99

I'm curious to know how you guys installed a scope on your TOZ-78's. The groove should be the same.

What rings did you use?

This scope mount looks a little funky. Now that ARMRUS is done
Who knows where to ever start looking for a factory scope mount?

So it will have to be an aftermarket mount I guess.
But what?

Hey Riflechair,
I scoped my 78 last year so I don't remember everything exactly, but I completely removed the rear sight by punching out the pins. Then I just used standard 22 rings, medium height (scope is 40mm), and everything cleared just fine. I think the rings are made by B-Square/Lynx, but I can't remember the exact model. If you need a P/N I can check it out this weekend, I still have the package. BTW this rifle when scoped produced the best accuracy/price ratio I've ever seen for a new gun.

isn't remington carrying those guns under a different name? maybe they will have 'factory' mounts

I used a set of tall 3/8" rings, and left the iron sights in place. Note the rail is metric, so some 3/8" rings will fit fine at the base, but others cannot be tightened enough, and you may need to file them a bit.
